As a previous sufferer of panic attacks, I know only too well what some of the symptoms are. In my case it was a racing heart, hyperventilating and crying at the same time and a feeling of dread during the attack. There are many ways to treat panic disorder and some people claim to be able to cure panic attacks. I have suffered from both GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and Panic Disorder. I have been able to stop my panic attacks for about a year now. I did not suffer from just a few episodes of panic attacks, but rather several (15-20) on a daily basis when my attacks were severe.
I have suffered from GAD for quite some time, about as far back as I can remember. I have always been the most determined, take on the world, type of personality. I owned and operated two businesses before I was 30. I have four children and do just about everything for everybody. Does this sound like you?
In order to cure my panic attacks, I had to do a complete lifestyle change. One that included my diet, my spirituality, my emotions, and my knowledge on the subject of panic disorder. All of which I will be talking about in the weeks to come at this site.
If you are here you are desperately seeking to find answers to cure these panic attacks that are occuring to you. I know, they can be very inconvenient. Just know that you will be O.K. A panic attack only lasts for so long, and it certainly will go away on its own. However, a book that I highly recommend to help cure your panic attacks can be read right now. This is the same book that I used as part of my natural treatment to help cure my panic attacks. I felt so much better the same night that I read this book. There is so much information in this book that it would take too much time (and web space) for me to detail it for you. Panic attacks are something you may face, but do you know how to cope with panic attacks? Most people do not and that is where the problem lies. A panic attack is a condition in which severe symptoms of anxiety occur in the body and will last any place from a few minutes to several hours. These fears are usually unfounded, too. In addition, coping with panic attacks means facing reality. If you live with panic disorder, you know that the fear of an attack can sometimes stand in your way. They can help you to keep your fears from getting worse, if nothing else. When you notice symptoms of an attack coming on, stop. Stop and engage your mind in helping you objectively assess the extent to which they have progressed. If you notice slight trembling of your hands, or are beginning to sweat, do what you can to find a resting place and take a seat. This is particularly important if you are experiencing dizziness or light-headedness. Breathe better. Take notice of how your breathing patterns move. Take a long, slow breath in through your nose and let a long, slow breath out through your mouth. This action alone will introduce increased levels of oxygen into your bloodstream and begin to relax you naturally. Realize that you are in complete control. Before you begin to get into a bad situation, look around you. You have the advantage of being the only one knowing that you are about to panic. If possible, locate and move to an area that is calm and free from distraction or interaction with others. Give yourself the ability to take some time and to come to grips in an environment...
